Tyler and I had the opportunity to go snowshoeing with some friends from my work yesterday. We went about 4 miles past Vivian Park (up Provo Canyon). I was a little nervous, but it literally takes no skill at all. It’s really easy to pick up, but was actually quite a bit of exercise.

I was disappointed when we picked up our snowshoes, though. I was expecting them to look like tennis rackets, or the snowshoes Bear Grylls made on Man vs. Wild (the episode with Will Ferrell). But they look like the first two pictures. (Also, the picture of my friend Tyson in the BYU hat is for my very BYU-enthusiastic brother-in-law Brian. I think his wife should attempt to make him one just like this for Christmas!)
