My name is Alie Jones and I love to laugh. I really do.
I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with my BA in visual arts, emphasis in graphic design. I love really good non-fiction novels, bright colors and spending quality time in my kitchen cooking plant-based meals for my family. But I hate doing the dishes. That’s my husband Tyler’s job.
I started this blog when we got married four years ago. (That’s what married people do, right? Start blogs?) It details my journey as a newlywed wife to becoming a mother. It’s seen me through my nearly in-edible meals to my greatest accomplishments as a cook. It’s a way to document my DIY successes and failures, and my wannabe-fabulous homemaking skills. Most recently, it’s been a way to heal from the loss of our daughter.
But most of all, it’s for my family. This is my way of showing them my love.
I also love to do freelance graphic design. Check out my portfolio pieces scattered throughout this blog.
