I’m sitting here at my desk, trying to draw. I’ve got my favorite paper and my favorite pen, but I can’t seem to join the two together.

The tip of my pen will almost touch the page, but then my hand quickly pulls it back. I’m afraid of that blank paper, afraid of making an irreversible mistake that will change the destiny of my drawing forever.

I have more paper. I have hundreds of do-overs. Are you like me, and find that starting is always the hardest part?
