There’s so much beauty in childhood, is there not? Had I been the one in this photo, I’d have frantically tried to brush the stray hairs out of my face and probably would have been wearing lipstick to cover up my pasty lips. But that’s the thing. Children don’t care, and I love that. Isn’t she beautiful?
