Remember that “house tour” I was promising you when we got all moved in? It’s taken me two weeks to post this and we’re still not entirely unpacked yet. (See those boxes in the corner? yeah, about that…uh, Tyler? you got that one? great.)
But enjoy. Here’s our home sweet home.
And p.s. I’m totally listening to to the Biebster while writing this. Which makes me cool.
I hate to admit it, but we still have a few large boxes of crap stuff in our bedroom. I think it’s mostly computer stuff. (cough, cough, Tyler…) And I still have pillows to make for our bed (have the fabric, but not the sewing machine to do it). I need to hang shelves in Jack’s room, and there are still some boxes of picture frames we need to find a place to store. But other than that, we’re pretty much settled. It’s wonderful.
Fun! It looks so good! So much better than being cooped up in the tiny apartments in Provo! Girl, you are waaayyyy ahead of us on this whole decorating thing :)
It look so great!!! I love the decorations and the furniture! Is it so nice to have a real, furnished house? Do you feel grown up? I would!!! It really is so so so cute!!!
p.s. Where did you get the Letterpress poster?
It’s by Cameron Moll. I have the signed one. Here’s the site where you can purchase it: http://cameronmoll.bigcartel.com/product/letterpress-poster-16×24
Tyler and my mom got it for my birthday a couple of years ago. Framing it was definitely not cheap ($200 maybe?) but really worth it!
Nah. Michael’s and those stores have 40% off all the time, so it was like $100. Just hold out for one of those.
We would use another frame, but the poster is 16×24, which apparently is an awkward size.
I love the bright blue pillows! Looks so nice! Miss you guys!
It looks so great! And I hear ya about the endless piles of computer junk without a home. . . my Tyler just won’t get rid of any of it! But honestly, it looks so great! Can you paint the walls/are you planning to?
We can paint the walls, but we’re choosing not to. Our landlord would probably make us paint them white again. We’re planning on buying a house in the next year or two (cross your fingers!) and we’d definitely paint then!
