We’ve got friends, they’re just hundreds of miles away from us.
Every single one of ’em.
It gets lonely here, living with my parents. My parents are fine, it’s just that I don’t have anyone to go on daily walks with. We don’t have “double date” friends. We really just don’t have peers because we don’t live in our own place.
But alas, Tyler says that could change. Here’s what he IMed me today:
There’s reason #5,672 why I married that man. :)
We’ll be down in a few weeks. I know you’re obligated to be our friends because I’m your sister, but we’re actually pretty excited! And, I have been looking forward to going on walks everyday. We just need to get Sadie a bigger bike if we take the kids. Her knees hit the handlebars on her tricycle!
Oh, and Tyler, do I look like a hobo? I’ll provide you with references, if necessary ;) !
We move Saturday! We’re about to be friendless too. So be our friends. (Even if Mission Valley to Oceanside is a little bit of a drive…) Oh P.S. Get a zoo pass!
I may very well get a zoo pass! I was debating between the zoo or Sea World, and waiting until I had someone to go with. I would absolutely go with you, Garin!!
My plan is to go once a week. Probably more until we have some friends since the animals have no choice in the matter…
And I just realized that we already are friends. But let’s hang out and pretend we didn’t just move somewhere new :)
Just a plug- Sea World is more fun with little kids. They have a baby playground and less walking.
SEA WORLD is my favorite, just make sure you don’t watch “The Cove” so you don’t feel guilty about going and loving it.
You guys are so much fun, if we ever live in San Diego or are there you will be the first ones we call.
I feel you- went through the same thing. On the upside, I’m much better friends with my mom now! Let me know if the ad works!
