This past weekend we celebrated Pioneer Day (July 24th). Our church held a huge Pioneer Day activity, complete with a (not quite life-size, but you can walk through it!) Nauvoo temple, handcart rides, and my dad’s delicious bbq. You could roast s’mores, make butter and homemade ice cream, eat pie, learn about genealogy, eat corn on the cob, meet Brigham Young (haha), and learn about how the pioneers lived. It was really neat and over 1,000 people came! You could tell people put a lot of hard work into planning it.

So, since you have mentioned your dad bbq’s, I have been craving tri-tip and yummy bbq that Provo doesn’t have. Bummer!
