It’s almost 2:30 in the afternoon, and I’m sitting here trying to concentrate on the deep and (utterly confusing) philosophical teachings of Descartes.
Yet the baby in my ever-growing belly has the hiccups, which are proving to be quite violent and disruptive (not to mention very strange feeling, as they are pretty far down near my pelvis).
However, this scenario is quite normal. Baby only gets the hiccups when I am trying really hard to concentrate and focus on something. Figures.
Welcome to motherhood! They only seem to want your attention when you are preoccupied.
