Brilliant, simply brilliant! I thought I was the only one that used polyester shower curtains as window curtains; I even use the solid color plastic shower curtain as a black out liner. What's not to love about the plastic liner; you can match it to your color and no light from inside the room gets out. Then use the polyester woven curtains as dressing curtains and there you are...a genius!!!! I jury-rigged the
plastic curtain liner run across my bedroom window on a cord, then I pull the window dressing curtains in place. Where I have blinds, I don't need to worry about using a plastic solid color liner, just the window dressing windows.

Genius!!! I have been looking at curtains and YIKES!! I have way too many windows to do to buy curtains for each one. And they look sooooo bad with nothing! Thanks for the inspiration! I have about a million shower curtains I've bought off eBay (Ooh do I love eBay! I find amazing deals on everything! My five kids won't need clothes for five years because I find brand new gymboree stuff from lines a few years back for literally $2.00! My mailman hates me! He has to back up into my driveway like a uhaul! Ha!) figuring I could do something fun with them. Thanks to your genius I will have window treatments. Yay!

I've always bought mine because the fabric stores in california suck! :) I always try to have curtains in every room - it just adds a warmth and coziness that no other furniture or accessory can do.
