(I got mine before Brandon was laid off) I haven't paid for any books yet as I have found them free! Amazon has a good selection and you can even play games on them (like scrabble and Everyword). You can find a kindle converter file for the computer (to convert word or pdf books) but I just have used a lot of pdf files. I like the Kindle files better as the pdf ones you can't adjust the screen as much but hey when they are free… I just deal with it. It has been great for waiting in the car to pick Elaena up from school (I have to be there 20 min. early to get a parking spot as the teacher needs to see you before she releases kids :) Sorry for a long post but I LOVE IT!!
