It lasts far longer than any sponge and it doesn't scratch nonstick surfaces or glass. You can get them at the local grocery store. I highly recommend!

It's awesome, and only $1. One of these lasts me like 3 months and works on dough (tried it yesterday). They clean really well and are super easy to sterilize.
